monday moodboard

i realize i’m a bit late to the game – six months, to be exact – but i needed to drop a quick note about pantone’s color of the year: rose quartz. i’ve been inspired.don’t get me wrong. it’s not that i didn’t notice rose quartz because she’s definitely stand-out. but it was one picture that really caught my eye……..

can you guess which one?? it was the dishes!! they’re STUNNING! and it truly was my intention to create this mood board with pantone’s sister color of the year, serenity blue, but it just wasn’t working for me. instead it was the lilac gray that was calling my name.

when i’m doing a mood board for myself, it just tends to work out that way. i begin on one path and all of a sudden, it’s taken me elsewhere! but that’s okay. mood boards are about expression. a visual interpretation of our thoughts.

if you follow me on instagram or pinterest, you may have seen this already but i think it’s worth another look. honestly, i think about this mood board every day and that makes me happy because i know it’s inspiring me to create. hopefully i’ll be able to show you the fruits of my inspiration later this week 🙂
